This is a well-loved Izakaya by local people. A variety of sake and shochu of Kumamoto are provided, and you can eat and drink very casually. “Honjitsu no sengyo” is an assorted of sashimi, using fresh and seasonal fish purchased on that day. Also there are a lot of delicious dishes and most of them are less than 1000 yen. You can enjoy Kumamoto’s local dishes such as karaage (deep fried chicken), chicken cutlet, toriten (chicken tempra), and yakitori using Higo akadori, or “Kyodoryori moriawase (local food plate)” which has “Basashi (horse meat sashimi)”, “Hitomoji no guruguru (boiled green onion served with sweet & sour mustard)” and “Karashi renkon (deep fried lotus a mixture of miso and Japanese mustard stuffed in)” for all less than 1000yen.

It is a dry ginjo sake that is refreshed over the throat and is made with Aso's underground water and Kumamoto Yeast using pesticide-free and fertilizer-free rice.
