Kikuchi rice, which has been grown in the Kikuchi river basin for 2000 years, is known throughout Japan for its deliciousness. Because of using that Kikuchi rice and serving big amount of tasty Chinese dishes, this restaurant is loved by local people. They use consciously selected Kumamoto’s ingredients, not only meats and vegetables used for “subuta (sweet and sour pork)”, “mapo tohu” or karaage (deep fried chicken) but also seasonings such as soy sauce and vinegar are used as much as possible. This restaurant is recognized as one of the “Chisan-chisho Kyouryoku ten (shops of restaurants promoting the localization of food consumption in Kumamoto)” by Kumamoto prefecture.
